Toronto is my city, and I started these tours after realizing I'd been walking past extraordinary things for years without knowing their stories. The sculptures outside my office. The waterfront I'd crossed a hundred times. One afternoon of research turned into months. What I found about immigration and identity, about Babe Ruth and a carousel that ended up at Disneyland, about the artists who quietly shaped this city was too good to keep to myself.
